BORIS Johnson visited Bromley to help launch the area’s £1bn town centre action plan and help bring in new investment.

London Audio was commissioned to provide all the staging, audio visual, lighting, speakers, microphones and lecterns for the whole event in Bromley.

The Do It Like A Dude star performed a show at Sketch for the launch of the new BlackBerry 7 collection and music-sharing service BBM Music. 

London Audio Ltd was commissioned to do the event, we were in charge of the all aspects of audio visuals including staging, sound lighting and effects.

The singer performed at London's Sketch club despite her long-standing ankle injury, where she helped launch the latest collection of Blackberry 7 smartphones and BBM Music service.

The Marketing Store

As visual perception is such a fundamental aspect of The Marketing Store’s business, It was important for them to create a well presented and vibrant presentation for their clients. We supplied the AV equipment for their demonstration; including a multiple wireless microphone system with PA and staging.We also supplied a custom made drop back for posters to be displayed from, this was primarily used to hide a kitchenette area of the room, but it was used to the clients advantage when they applied posters and company logos to replicate the gathering with clients. We also provided voting pads, as the presentation was used to monitor audiences emotions regarding different videos displayed.

Evening Standard British Film Awards - London Film Museum


This was our second visit to the London Film Museum in as many years. After taking care of the audio visual equipment in the previous year, we were delighted to be invited back to provide the equipment required for the prestigious awards ceremony held in the County Hall. The room itself is an old debating chamber; containing a 200 seat auditorium, with a huge bowed ceiling decorated in magnificent Italian and Greek marble, it’s very impressive. We provided a Panasonic 6000 lumen projector to be used as the main visual feature, along with JTS Goosneck Condenser Microphones for the nominations and winners speeches to be voiced from. With the size of the room and the number of guests attending we provided 4 Active Mackie SRM 450 speakers, controlled via a 16 channel Yamaha control surface. 

The event was a huge success, particularly for those who picked up awards; ‘NEDS’ directed by Peter Mullan won Best Film, Kristen Scott Thomas won Best Actress for her role in ‘For Leaving’ and Andrew Garfiled won Best Actor for his performances in ‘The Social Network’ and ‘Never Let Me Go

A Proel Professional Audio System was chosen for a prestigious location in Great Britain! 
This time it was the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich, one of the most majestic architectural complexes in London, that chose a powerful Sound Reinforcement System by Proel! 

Just a bit of history: the project for the Old Royal Naval College was commissioned to Sir Christopher Wren and it was built between 1696 and 1712. Originally, the building was a hospital, but when it closed down in 1869, the Royal Navy turned it into a College, and as such it remained in activity up to 1998. Currently the area is under the management of the Greenwich Foundation and hosts the University of Greenwich, which is also the site of several cultural and tourist attractions in London. 
London Audio, the company in charge of the audio system design, had to choose loudspeakers that could match the style of the historical building. The system configuration includes 15 custom-painted 100V constant voltage EDGE25PW, installed on special purpose-designed pedestals . 
In detail, the Proel audio system was installed in the Painted Hall, one of the largest reception halls in Europe. 

The hall is located in King William Court and it is decorated with James Thorhill's baroque frescoes. It is famous for having hosted Lord Horatio Nelson's body after his death at Trafalgar on the 21st October 1805 when the British Fleet defeated Napoleon's Fleet. The Hall still hosts many important events that require high quality sound reinforcement. The grand opening with the new sound system took place during the celebrations to commemorate the Battle of Trafalgar. 
Ray Faithfull, the Site Manager, thus spoke his satisfaction: "The event was rather successful and having such a powerful amplification system improved the sound of the hall and made it even more striking".

The demonstration took place in arguably one of the most historic studios in the world - Studio 2.

We provided rear projection with a large fast folding screen and drape kit, and a 65” plasma which was used to screen a live point of view camera feed, so that the audience could view the demonstrators hands operating the software and controllers.

Master Chef Exchange Programme - Institute of Contemporary Arts We Supply AV Equipment

London Event Management Supply the pre Master Chef Show with LCD Plasma Screens and PA systems.

The Master Chef Exchange Programme was an event organised by producers of the infamous television show to share ideas with fellow broadcasting countries. Plasma screens were required to present ideas, previous, and potential footage for the forthcoming series. Microphones and a PA system were also a requirement for the event. We recorded all of the audio from the two day seminar so that the client could transcribe it to include in their newsletter/website. We provided an on-site technician so that microphone levels could be adjusted to suit each speaker and to maintain a suitable volume for the audience and the recording. Our on-site technician organised the clients slides and DVDs so that the visuals were run in a specific order at the clients request.

We provided Croydon Council with Audio Visual Equipment to be used at The Croydon Park Hotel. The event was organised to gather potential investors to show presentations and to promote the South London town. The presentations were key to get there messages across; slide-shows and videos were incorporated with speakers opinions to back up statements and make the event more interesting and diverse.

We provided projectors, microphones and an audio system that was sufficient when considering the room size and the number of people attending. We also organized PowerPoint presentations in order for the client to maintain a smooth transaction between speakers, this giving the event a smooth and professional impression upon the audience. The industry standard equipment we provided for this event was fundamental for the client, the set up gave potential investors reassurance and confidence in the pitch.

Obviously the most vital part of this event was the content of the speakers, but the delivery of the content and how it was perceived also held comprehensive importance.

Hilton Hotel – Audio System Install

Having won the contract for the (Hilton Hotel London) audio system, we were pleased to offer them a user friendly, adaptable multi-room AV sound system.

Using the latest audio technology we installed a system which enables the Hotel to control several areas (Zones) and bars at one accessible station. This is particularly useful for them as they often have live acts performing at the same time as people dining so volume levels can be controlled in each area of the hotel.  
As well as volume control the hotel are now able to make announcements over a microphone to selected areas of the hotel at the touch of a button.

This gives the Hilton fantastic communication between staff and clients informing them of important information.
